So you think you want a podcast for your brand or business? How can you be sure a podcast is right for you? Who is your target audience? What topics or style should you choose? How often should you release an episode? What is your tone of voice? Solo host or interview? How will you differentiate your show from others like it? What is your marketing strategy? What are your metrics of success?

The podcast market is growing and becoming more and more saturated and competitive.

Therefore, I have built what I call the "ABCs" of what makes Eleven14 Studios unique. I'll walk you through each step of my simple design process from beginning to end to help you discover if podcasting is right for you. Let's get started.

A - Audit (an Idea)

First, before establishing a podcast plan and vision, I'll do an audit of your brand asking the following questions to see if a podcast is the best fit for you:

  1. Who is your brand's target audience? Who is your podcast avatar?
  2. What are your end goals and desired outcomes in starting a podcast?
  3. What style and feel are you looking for?
  4. What are your metrics for measuring success?
  5. What do you want your listeners to do? Listen, learn, trust, buy, share?

Audits are your chance to talk, and our opportunity to listen to your needs so we can share real solutions.


B - Build (a Plan)

Second, after the audit, if a podcast is a good fit, I will begin building out a plan and vision for your podcast in order to determine the next steps for action. Every podcast plan built by 1114 will include both a plan for both production and creative services with a timeline and actions.

Production involves everything to do with the actual audio production, specifically mastered in post-production services including professional voice-overs, professional quality music, editing, mastering, launching the final product on audio platforms and more. Creative services includes but is not limited to business model canvas assistance (business plan and model help), brand identity and strategy, content development and design, collaborative strategy with the client, graphic design, social media content, marketing strategy and design, brand strategy, storytelling and more.

Each podcast plan I build out is custom pricing on a case-by-case basis. Pricing will depend on factors primarily like frequency and complexity and secondarily like number of voices, level of production quality, length of episode, and extent of monthly creative services needed per client.

C- Create (a Product)

This is where vision becomes real. Where dreams become a reality. Ideas get executed. We start with an audit, move toward building a plan, and finally create a finished product: idea, plan, product.

I will commit to staying in frequent and open communication with my clients to ensure we reach our goals and hit our targets of launch.

Included in production and creative services is a monthly report on podcast stats as well as other metrics of success pre-determined by each client. Creating doesn't stop after launch. Launch is just the beginning of an ongoing creative collaboration between 1114 and the client.
